Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement Cardiac Mapping System Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, Richard L. Roudebush (RLR) VA Medical Center (VAMC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for the brand name EnSite X EP System. The associated NAICS code for this is 334510. The PSC is 6525. The vendor will be Abbott Laboratories, INC, 100 Abbott Park Road, Chicago, IL 60064-3500. Description of Equipment or Supplies: The estimated cost is $233,750.00. EnSite X EP System / ENSITE X-SYS Quantity of 1 Advanced Mapping Software License / ENSITE-AM-2.0 Quantity of 1 AutoMark Distance Software License / ENSITE-AMD-01 Quantity of 1 Averaged Impedance Drop Software License / ENSITE-IMP-01 Quantity of 1 EnSite Contact Force Module / CFK3000 Quantity of 1 Ampere Generator Kit / H700494 Quantity of 1 Ampere Remote Control / H700490 Quantity of 1 Cool Point Irrigation Pump / 89003 Quantity of 1 The RLR VAMC is seeking a brand name cardiac mapping system to replace its current system. The requested system must be compatible and integrated with the current Cardiac Electrophysiology Recording System, and GE Cardio Lab, including integration with the system server hardware. The VA-OIT approved (See ERA # RITM10225634) system is consistent with VA policies and standards, including but not limited to; VA Handbook 6500, and VA Directives 6550. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
