Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source The USDA, Forest Service intends to sole source the purchase of two (2) Premium Biomet Sensor Packages to monitor carbon inputs and outputs (i.e., flux) to LI-COR, Inc., Sam UEI #GTDVYFYXCFF7 in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) � soliciting from a single source.� The serial/product # for the Biomet Sensor package is 7900-119-50. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals. Closing date of Notice: April 26, 2024, 12:00 (EST) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 The size standard is 1000 Total Estimated Value $62,200.00 The sensors and probes in the Biomet Sensor Package have the following salient characteristics: Quantum sensor � Weather resistant and durable in long-term outdoor deployments � Measures global solar radiation under unobstructed natural daylight conditions � Uniform sensitivity up to 82� incident angle � Detachable sensor simplifies installation and removal, making it ideal for platforms with complex cabling Net radiometer A pyranometer pair, one facing upward, the other facing downward, and a pyrgeometer pair in a similar con?guration. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this notice of proposed contract action.
