- You are cordially invited to attend an industry convening event on Wednesday May 1, 2024, at 2:00-2:45 PM EST pertaining to the recently published White Paper on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as identified in the Make PPE in America Act. � � Our intent in publishing the White Paper was to provide PPE demand information across the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and to demonstrate the commitment of the Federal government to advancing Made in America objectives by implementing acquisition programs to support long-term sustainability of the domestic PPE manufacturing industry. Please note we will not be discussing any specific procurement matters.
