**** Abstract of Bids is being posted April 22, 2024.**** ****Amendment 0002 is to add updated Specifications and to extend the bid opening to April 16, 2024. In order to view amendment documents, please ensure that you chose Download All Attachments button when directed to the PIEE Solicitation page. This will allow the viewing of all the solicitation and amendment documents.**** **** Amendment 1001 and 1101 is to add the files associated with Amendment 0001. In order to view amendment documents, please ensure that you chose Download All Attachments button when directed to the PIEE Solicitation page. This will allow the viewing of all the solicitation and amendment documents.**** ****Amendment 0001 is to add attachments of files as requested in RFI ID 10688946.****This invitation for bid is for Full and Open Competition. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.1307, this project requires the HUBZone 10% price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns. The C. Reiss Coal Co. Slip located in the Duluth-Superior Harbor, Superior, Wisconsin contains contaminated sediment which the government seeks to remove. Mobilize dredge to C. Reiss Slip, Superior, WI in the Duluth-Superior Harbor and dredge contaminated sediment from the slip to the depths as shown on the contract drawings. Implement various Best Management Practices (BMPs) to minimize turbidity. Dewater the dredged material as specified and filter the collected carriage water to remove contaminants to standards described in specifications. Place the material in the prescribed staging area, as indicated on the contract drawings and in the specifications. Clean-up the site and demobilize when dredging work is completed.
