- Amendment 01 - Response due date is exrtended to 1600 PD 26 April 2024. No other changes have been made. (i)�� �This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)�� �This solicitation, 1240BD24Q0061 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) (iii)�� �The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05. (iv)�� �This procurement is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code is 315990 - Other Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Description of Rewuirement The Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest has a requirement for a floating boat dock and�ramp/gangway for the Swift Creek Campground on Baker Lake. Purchase of the boat dock, ramp/gangway and professional installation services will be required. Please see the salient characteristics of the boat dock and ramp for this requirement. � a)�� �Installation must be included in your quote to be considered for award. b)�� �One Firm Fixed-Priced award will be issued. c)�� �Submit offers to Mindy Hickman via email at mindy.hickman@usda.gov prior to 17 April 2024, 1600, PST. Include the completed schedule of items, representation and certifications, Technical Capability such as literature/brochures detailing the specifications of the products you are offering and anticipated delivery date(s) SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:� Dock Specifications: ���� �Dock size to be 8 feet wide and 30 feet long with aluminum alloy construction. ��� �Dock framing to be minimum of 2�x6�x 0.125 tube with similar size tube braces and minimum2�x2�x0.25 angle around all perimeter corners. Both long sides of the dock to have minimum2�x8�x0.125 tube. ��� �Dock will be self-floating and have floats attached in a manner that allows light transmission though the dock. ��� �Entire dock decked with dark grey 1� x 1� Fibergrate decking or similar for durability and light transmission. ��� �Six 9� or larger welded on rope cleats spaced out around dock for boat lines. ��� �Chain brackets on both ends of the dock for anchoring. Dock will be secured with chains to the lake bottom. ��� �Corner bumpers and edging all around the dock large enough and durable enough to prevent any damage to docked boats. ��� �Ramp guides/protector plate for gangway to rest on dock. ��� �All exposed surfaces shall be smooth and free of sharp or jagged edges. Ramp/Gangway Specifications: ��� �Ramp size to be 4 feet wide and 35 feet long with aluminum alloy construction. ��� �Ramp side chords to be minimum of 2�x4�x 0.125 tube, stringers minimum of 1 ��x1�x0.125tube, and floor beams minimum of 2�x1 ��x0.125 tube. Will include angle bracing. ��� �Entire ramp decked with dark grey 1� x 1� Fibergrate decking or similar for durability and light transmission. ��� �Ramp will have handrails on both sides for the entire ramp distance. ��� �Ramp will have two welded on anchor points on one end to secure ramp to shore structure. ��� �Ramp will have durable underside rollers on dock end to rest on top of dock. ��� �All exposed surfaces shall be smooth and free of sharp or jagged edges. ��� �Ramp will include galvanized abutment bracket for mounting to shore. DELIVERY /INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS Dock and ramp to be delivered and installed at Baker Lake, WA (Swift Creek Campground) by personnel knowledgeable in the field of boat dock installation. Dock and Ramp must be in safe working order when installation is complete Dock secured with 4 ea. (4 foot or longer) galvanized augur anchors secured into lake bottom. Dock secured with �� long link galvanized chain and �� galvanized shackles to augur anchors Ramp installed from shore to new dock in proper location and adjusted for changing water depths, wind, and waves All exposed edges must be smooth and free of sharp or jagged edges. DELIVERY LOCATION� Swift Creek Campground at Baker Lake, WA (No address) (Milepost 20 Baker Lake Rd) AVAILABLE DELIVERY/INSTALATION DAYS AND TIMES:� ��� �Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm (except on observed holidays) ��� �Dock installed during high water lake level (Memorial Day to Labor Day).
