Description
Facility Management System Motion Control Engineering Elevator Equipment to replace PCs and updated Software This is a Sources Sought announcement for acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation for this requirement exists at this time. All businesses, regardless of size; capable of providing these items are invited to respond to this announcement and submit a capability statement for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine a firm's previous experience performing similar work. The capability statements will be reviewed and used to determine an appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside is warranted or an alternate procurement strategy. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this notice or otherwise pay for information solicited. Proposed Project: The Bureau of Reclamation, Hoover Dam Office, located approximately 30 miles south of Las Vegas, currently uses MCE software for monitoring the Lower Colorado Dams elevators including Parker Dam. The MCE software provides monitoring features for elevators, showing models, locations, and elevator status. The software will provide the engineers the ability to monitor the status of all of the elevators from a single location as well as providing a reporting feature. The requirement is to replace the complete system that is obsolete and no longer supported. The Bureau of Reclamation, Policy and Programs, Elevator maintenance personnel are responsible for 24/7 operations. The objective of this purchase order is to purchase MCE elevator monitoring PCs and software to replace obsolete versions that are not supported or covered under any kind of warranty. The new equipment will be installed on the FMS network and will be maintained by IT. This s requirement is to replace the original IVIEW and or ICUE with the latest IVIEW/ICUE combo pc and monitoring computers with Windows 10-64BIT PC and upgrade all ICONTROLLERS software to the latest release #4.2. The contractor must provide the following items from the MCE service catalog: Base license IController software 13 Dell PCs 15 month New Controller warranty The information for modification of this equipment is as follows: MCE JOB NAME HOOVER DAM MONITORING (19-92734, 2018090190, 2018090191, 2018091332, 2019093615, 2019093616, 2019094006, 2019094007, 2018090606, 2019091513, 2019091514, 2019091515, 2018089068, 2018089069 AND 2018089070). CUSTOMER WILL PROVIDE MOD TEAM CONFIG FILES TO BE PRELOADED ONTO FLASH MODULES. 19-92734 AND 18-89070 ARE MONITORING COMPUTERS THAT ARE ON THE JOBS THAT WOULD NEED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE UPGRADE TO WIN10. Delivered to the Hoover Dam Central Warehouse State Route 172, Boulder City, NV 89005. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334111 - Electronics Computer Manufacturing with a corresponding small business size standard of 1,250 employees. Statement as whether the firm manufacturers the end product or not. 6. Identify if the product is American made or not. 7. Capability Statement (not to exceed 5 pages). A brief summary of capabilities to include demonstration of the company's capability to perform the work. Previous procurements performed of similar size and complexity to include references with point of contact information. Customary lead times for these types of items.
