Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS�and not a request for quote, proposal, or invitation for bid, and as such, any additional information as to the size and/or scope of the project will not be available until the issuance of the solicitation. No award will be made from the pre-solicitation notice, nor will any proposals, quotes, or bids be accepted from this notice. Any submittal will only be accepted after the posting of the solicitation notice. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Please do not email requesting additional information until after the posting of the solicitation notice. General Information The solicitation is anticipated to be issued around�May 15, 2024. All dates are tentative and for planning purposes only. Anticipated Magnitude of Construction:� Between $250,000 and $500,000 The resulting contract shall be a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The solicitation shall be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP). To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/. Requirement Information Eastern Regional Research Center Boiler 3 Replacement LOCATION: 600E Mermaid Lane, Wyndmoor, PA. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM CODE: (NA235ICS): 236220 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $19M General Scope:� The Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC), 600 East Mermaid Lane, Wyndmoor, PA requires the replacement of a 400HP dual-fuel, natural gas/oil Kewanee boiler, referred to as Boiler 3, with a nominally sized 250HP boiler rated below 10MBTUH firing natural gas or #2 heating oil. The work includes demolition and removal of the existing boiler, provision and installation of the new boiler, including piping, electrical, exhaust and controls. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, supervision, testing and incidentals necessary to provide a completely operational, fully automated, boiler integrated with ERRC�s Siemens building automation system (BAS).
