Description

Amendment 0001: This amendment is to change the site visit time. Site visit scheduled for 16MAY2024 at 1:00 PM CDT is changed to 16MAY2024 at 11:00 AM CDT. No other changes, attached is the Amendment 0001 docuemnt, please ensure you sign and submit the amendment when submitting your proposal. Note: If you have already sent RSVP, there's no need to resend. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the upgrades to the Fire Protection System which includes Fire Alarm Replacement and Fire Sprinkler Retrofit to both buildings at the William M. Steger Federal Building and Courthouse; 211 W. Ferguson St., Tyler, TX 75702. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $19 Million. All responsible, qualified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal. The source selection process and criteria will be based on the Best Value trade-off methodology. A pre-proposal conference will be held May 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM CDT. A site visit will be conducted on May 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM CDT. Details pertaining to the site visit are enclosed in the solicitation. Note: This will be the only conference and site visit scheduled. No additional conference calls or site visits will be scheduled. Interested firms are encouraged to attend the site visit. The solicitation closing date will be June 7, 2024, at 4:00 PM CDT. The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: https://sam.gov/ (Contract Opportunities). No telephone requests for documents will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarifications must be in writing, preferable via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation posting. Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ or by contacting the SAM Service Desk at https://www.fsd.gov/gsafsd_sp.
