- Description
- The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), Cambridge, MA has a requirement for one (1) diesel-engine railway car spotter vehicle with an option for extended field support and training.� This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and pursuant to FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This acquisition is being conducted using full and open competition and the Government intends to award a single firm fixed price purchase order.� � Inquiries: Offerors shall submit questions, clarification requests, or other inquiries pertaining to this solicitation no later than 4:00pm Daylight Savings Time on, May 17, 2024. Any questions received after this time and date shall be answered only if determined by the CO to be in the best interest of the Government. All inquiries shall be submitted by email to rachelle.faiteau@dot.gov and should include the request for quote number in the subject line.� Inquiries pertaining to a specific area of the quote should clearly identify the page/section/paragraph the inquiry applies to.
