Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 4, 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215-1802, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to TrillaMed LLC, for the provision of a brand-name only software platform and hardware upgrade for the Government-owned GE Healthcare MUSE Cardiology Information Management System at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240-1003; Lebanon VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042-7529; and Philadelphia VAMC, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104-4551. The upgrade shall support, integrate, and interface with the current network of electrocardiography equipment deployed and utilized throughout the medical facilities within VISN 4. The anticipated sole source contract will have delivery date of 120 days after receipt of award. This contract action is for delivery, installation, and training of items for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334510 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 4:30 P.M., EST, on Friday, May 17, 2024, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
