This is NOT a solicitation for a proposal, proposal abstract, or quote. The U.S House of Representatives (USHR), Chief Administrative Office along with other Legislative Branch Procurement Offices, is hosting a Legislative Branch Industry Day on June 25, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to noon at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, Congressional Auditorium. This event is for contractors interested in doing business with the Legislative branch and is open to any business. If you are interested in attending, please register at https://aocfeedback.questionpro.com/industry-day-registration with the names of each attendee from your company (limit three per company) by June 19, 2024 by 2 PM EST.� � Government regularly hosts �Industry Day� events in order to provide information on pending procurements, encourage competition, create a level playing field for all potential offerors, and educate offerors on procurement practices and policies.� We are committed to excellence, integrity, fairness, accountability, and innovation that support our mission.�� The U.S. House of Representatives, Chief Administrative Office (CAO), Office of Acquisition Management is comprised of one acquisition division that supports CAO Business Units and Member Offices. CAO Business Units: The CAO is made up of 9 Business Units which provide services and resources for the House of Representatives Members and Staff. Our Contract Specialists assist with acquisition and procurement needs for the various Business Units to help execute the CAO's mission in a timely fashion.� Office Supply & Gift Shop: The Office Supply Service provides goods and services to assist all House offices and the Gift Shop provides souvenirs and gifts to Members, staff and the public.� Member Offices: The Small Purchasing team provides equipment, software, furniture and office supplies for Member Offices, Committees, and Leadership.
