- Performance Work Statement Heating Hydronic Valve Replacement Hospital and Clinic General: Orlando VA Medical Center has a requirement to replace two steam globe valves and actuator assemblies, one in the Clinic and one in the Hospital. Work will be performed at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827 during the normal business hours of 0800-1700 hrs. Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, and any other items as necessary to replace 2 steam globe valves that are part of the Heating Hydronic System One Valve is in the Main Hospital Mechanical room and One valve is in the Clinic Basement Mechanical Room. Contractor shall remove and reinstall all, cables, wiring or other equipment necessary to power valves and connect valves to the BAS network cabling to each valve and actuator. Once the new valve is installed, make sure everything is sealed properly, the valves are functioning as they should, and the actuator is communicating properly with the Building automation system according to the manufacturer s specifications. Objectives: replace two Heating Hydronic valves and actuator assemblies in the Hospital (1 Valve) and Clinic (1 Valve) with an exact replacement valve or equivalent model that meets the same pressure class and rating. Work hours: Normal work hours are 0700-1600 Mon-Fri. The contractor may be required to work weekend or after hours when Utility shutdown is least likely to impact patient and facility needs. 4 Acceptance of work: Prior to the acceptance of work by the VA Medical Center, the contractor shall arrange through the COR a review of work completed to ensure work satisfaction as well as proper clean up. Completed work shall meet the written scope of work.
