Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation special notice for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 75D30124Q77675 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-07. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 513210 with a small business size standard of $47,000,000.00. �The Clinical and Environmental Microbiology Branch (CEMB) is a large lab branch that provides reference antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST), reference identification, genomic characterization, laboratory support for the investigation of outbreaks and other adverse events occurring in healthcare settings, maintains surveillance programs for important pathogens causing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), and develops and optimizes methods to detect and decontaminate pathogenic bacteria from healthcare surfaces, wastewater and medical devices. The below CLIN is required: ITEM SUPPLIES / SERVICES QTY / UNIT 0001 CCP-22AS Customer Care Freezerworks Customer Care Program - Ascent Server POP: 7/11/2024 through 7/10/2025 Customer Care Program provides: One Year of unlimited support and access to upgrades Including maintenance and new version releases of your currently owned software edition Ascent Server with 28 Standard Users Custodial Account #: 92302 1 Each This contract action is for supplies and license services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested entities may identify their interest and capability with this requirement. �This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management.
