- Title of Project: Mill and Overlay of existing parking lot at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center Project Location: This project is located near Nags Head, North Carolina. Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is located approximately 12 miles South of Nags Head, NC. Description: The scope of the project will include the milling and paving of the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center parking area and entrance road, which has a total of approximately 195,650 sq. ft. of surface area. New asphalt will be installed over the entire surface. In areas where substantial damage has occurred and more intense repairs are required, the damaged asphalt and base materials will be replaced to the depth required to achieve proper compaction and meet NCDOT load requirements. The parking stalls, road center lines, fog lines and ADA spaces will be repainted. Parking bumpers will be replaced with new ones upon completion of the paving and striping of the parking area. The surfaces would be elevated as they are currently under water following significant rain events. The drainage system will be repaired. You are also required to have a Unique Entity number in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. This pre-solicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but pre-notice of an upcoming solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below.
