Description
Combine Synopsis/Solicitation #HT9406-24-Q-128SLICECT is issued as a Request for proposal (RFP). The combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation as indicated in the attachment. The DD Form 1155 is being utilized to generate the applicable clauses from the Standard Procurement System. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, Southeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division intends to procure a firm fixed price contract for one (1) 128 Slice Computed Tomography (CT) System in support of U.S. NMRTC Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. �The CT system shall be able to scan the entire body habitus of the patients. The CT system shall be able to perform scout scans in lateral and/or anterior-posterior planes for accurate scan localization. It should support anatomical range definition for prospective reconstructions. The system shall be capable of moving the patient as the table moves incrementally between scans. The system shall be capable of acquiring up to 128 slices in one rotation, the CT system should have the ability to support gated cardiac calcium scoring examinations using the wireless vital signal module (VSM). The system shall be able to preview reconstructions, real-time reconstructions, reconstructions after preview and Off-Line Reconstructions. The system shall be able to properly display the CTDlvol (Unit:mGy/100mAs) and DLP dose reports for each patient after completing their CT examination.� The contract will consist of a base year of 5 months and 1 Option Year of 4 months. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 12.603; Streamlined solicitation for commercial products or commercial services. Competition Approach: Full and Open Competition Submission of Proposals: Contractors must follow the requirements of FAR 52.212-1 Addendum, 52.212-2 Addendum, and the Proposal Instructions and Evaluation Criterion provided in the solicitation document to create the proposal. Proposal is required to be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialists on or before the date and time specified in the attachement. Period of Performance: The estimated start date is August 1, 2024. The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base year of 5 months and one (1) Option year of 4 months. The start date is subject to change. The Government may not respond to questions received less than 3 days prior to the due date and time for receipt of quotations.
