- THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS, QUOTATIONS, OR INVITATION FOR BIDS. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District (NWW) is contemplating developing a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Metalwork Fabrication. The draft Scope of Work for this MATOC is attached to this Sources Sought notice. The government expects to issue a solicitation in August 2024, award a contract in November 2024. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332312 Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees. This Sources Sought notice seeks industry feedback on the attached Scope of Work. This Sources Sought notice will also be used to assist in determining whether this MATOC should be set-aside for small business. Specific questions are below. The government is currently contemplating a typical large steel structure to be 100 tons, 55� tall and 23� wide. What is the largest steel structure your company can produce? The government is currently contemplating including seals and sacrificial anodes in the scope of work. Do you or your subcontractors have the ability to provide seals and/or sacrificial anodes? The government is currently contemplating including lifting devices per ASME BTH-1-2020 and ASME B30.20. Do you or your subcontractors have the ability to provide and test Below-the-Hook devices? Do you have any other feedback on the attached scope of work? For your response to be most useful to the government, please include the following with your response. A capability statement expressing interest in this requirement and describing your company.� Include any American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Certifications and Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) SSPC-QP3 certification, if applicable. Provide a statement of your company�s business size status (HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), small disadvantaged, or woman-owned) with regards to the NAICS code listed above. Provide your company�s CAGE Code and UEI. This sources sought notice is for market research and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to pay for information submitted in response to this request. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the market analysis and debriefings will not be available. It is the reader's responsibility to monitor the Government Point of Entry (GPE) via SAM.gov Contract Opportunities for any resultant or future solicitation package(s) that may be issued.
