Description

This Sources Sought/Notice of Intent is being posted to satisfy the�requirement under the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement PGI�206.302-1(d). The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)�intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with GovCIO 1-13 Christopher Way Suite 102, Eastontown, NJ 07724. This for the procurement is for Tier 2�Help Desk support for National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends�to issue a sole source contract to GovCIO. Market research was conducted�through Internet searches, review of past performance history, and verbal�and written Request for Information (RFI) from three companies in order to�identify potential sources capable of meeting the urgent requirement for�Help Desk Support Services. Due to the ongoing need of this support, DCSA�plans to extend the current contract order. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and�not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources�may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received within fifteen�calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by DCSA.�All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the�e-mail address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open�the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is�solely within the discretion of the Government.
