NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation currently available. In order to protect the integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Response Date: June 14, 2024, 11:00 am Thailand Time This notice aims to provide public notice of a forthcoming project at Camp Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines. The government plans to issue a solicitation approximately June 2024. This notice also aims to collect names of contractors interested in attending the site visit for the Base Access Request (BAR) that will be facilitated by the US Government. Projects Description: This is a design build project to provide complete design and construction of a new 6-story rappel tower and landing pad in First Scout Ranger Regiment (FSRR), Camp Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan. The 6-story rappel tower shall be located near the existing museum in Camp Tecson while the landing pad shall be located at 150m from the edge of the 6-story rappel tower going to the direction of the existing 4-story rappel tower. Floor dimensions of rappel tower is 8m by 6m from Ground Floor Level (GFL) to fourth floor level (4FL), and 9m by 8m from 5FL to 6FL. Stairs from the GFL to 6FL shall be reinforced concrete with hot-dipped galvanized metal railings. Elevation or height in between floor levels is 3m. The landing pad shall be 34m by 4m made of sand and loam. The elevation of the landing pad surface shall achieve a clear height of 5.4m at the middle of the 4m-wide landing pad in consideration of the cable sag. Nine (9) anchorage posts for the nine (9) cables shall be located 10m from the edge of the landing pad. Project Magnitude is between US$500,000 and US$1,000,000 (FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects). A Pre-Proposal Site Visit (PPSV) for this project is tentatively scheduled around the third or fourth week of July 2024. The site visit is to provide Offerors with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the job sites and conditions to be encountered and is not for the purpose of answering questions.� ***Offerors interested in the project are required to submit the attached Base Access Request (BAR) and fill in your information in the attached Base Access Request (BAR) form / provide required information for the PPSV. Submit it to the site access coordinators listed below by June 14, 2024. ***To: Ms. Marivic Marquez (Site Access Coordinator) ***Email: MarquezMM@state.gov cc: nitiwate@state.gov; williamsrg@state.gov��� Note: -The project site is located near an open field. Please wear appropriate shoes for an open field area. Sedan vehicles are permitted, but not recommended. -Contractors may submit up to 4 names (2 primaries and 2 alternates), but only 2 participants, 1 driver, and 1 vehicle, per company shall be allowed to attend the PPSV. The driver can enter the base but must remain in the vehicle throughout the site visit. The driver is not permitted to attend the site visit or replace any of the attendees during the site visit and must present a valid form of identification or passport for base access. -This base access process is only for the list of attendees the US Government is facilitating. Contractors that request access after the required date will not be added to the US Government list but will still be allowed to attend the site visit with two attendees if they can get access to the base on their own. This is a limitation imposed by the host nation. Contractors are not allowed to inspect the project sites outside of the scheduled site visits. Any Contractor that does a site inspection outside of the scheduled site will be disqualified and ineligible for award due to having a competitive advantage. - All information relevant to the site visits will be posted on SAM.gov. Emails requesting confirmation for site visit times, locations, and other information that is clearly stated on SAM.gov will not be answered.
