- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Award THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property Operations. USFWS Division of Engineering intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 8,405-6(a)(1)(B) Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized to: Carahsoft Technology Corp 11493 Sunset Hills RD Reston, VA 20190 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services. The object of this sole source award is to migrate the USFWS operated commercial instance of Smartsheet to a government-specific instance of the platform to ensure compliance with federal regulations and enhance data security. This migration is essential to meet federal standards and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of FWS operations. This solution was custom built and tailored specifically to USFWS Infrastructure Management Branch. Carahsoft Technology Corp. is the only vendor capable of performing the migration as they have developed this solution for USFWS. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
