- This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)� The U.S. Embassy � Guatemala requires�professional services and contractor cost proposals to perform�preventive maintenance services of the facility�s Consular Audiovisual (AV) System (Intercom, Paging, and Displays).� The objective of this preventive maintenance contract is to eliminate system malfunction, breakdown and�deterioration when windows sound systems are activated and operating. Audio must be intelligible at the�necessary volume and Video must be free of noise and distortion. The AV System must facilitate effective�communication between the Consular personnel and the applicant.� Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government.� Major duties and responsibilities are to provide preventive maintenance services.� The contractor shall provide all required labor, personnel, management, materials, and equipment to render the required services.� All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered.���� All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.� Electronic submission/responses:� Only electronic offers will be accepted.� Please mail your offer to the address GuatemalaBids@state.gov listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.����
