- This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 VHA Regional Procurement Office-West (RPOW) 5441 Babcock Rd. San Antonio TX, 78229 for the procurement of the Vital Machines w/ Stands to support health care operations. Background and Requirement: El Paso VA Health Care System (EPVAHCS) The Contractor shall provide technical support services to connect to current and future upgrades of PPS workstation and telephone support for all applications. Equipment Support shall be provided during the warranty period. This equipment for proposed is the Vital Machines w/ Stands. This equipment must be able to perform the following functions. Spot Monitor with SureBP Non-invasive Blood Pressure, Covidien SpO2 Spot Monitor Classic Mobile Stand NX EQ Physiological Vital Signs SPECIFIC INSTRUMENT REQUIRED: El Paso VA Health Care System (EPVAHCS) Vital Machines w/ Stands needs to function with the following: Software Applications: The Contractor will provide and update all software applications, as they become available, through usual commercial channels. The Contractor will make recommendations for application upgrades. Software means the application software and license to the Customer by the original software developer. Customer means the site of the firm, group, company, or corporation. Software Support Services: The Contractor must provide unlimited telephone and email support to Customer inquiries regarding the use and operation of the software. This does not include training in the use of the software, customer modifications, product development, or modification of existing source codes belonging to the Government. Software fixes, patches, and free software updates must be made available through the duration of the contract. Troubleshooting and Repair: Any problems with the system must be isolated and repaired by the Contractor. The Contractor will trouble shoot the hardware, software, and communications equipment to determine the best method of repair. If problems are found, the Contractor shall contact the appropriate and authorized maintenance organization or company and track the trouble call until it is resolved. If this is an item your business can provide, please respond to this Sources Sought Notice by 08:00 AM Central Time on Wednesday, 12 June 2024. The intent of this notice is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g set-aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a solicitation that VA intends to post soon. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following: a. where is the item manufactured, the VA is interested in procuring items manufactured in the United States. If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, include the contract details in your response. Please note that VA is particularly interested in determining the availability of Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business/Veteran Owned Small Business or other Small Business manufacturers or authorized distributors that can provide this item. Respond to this notice if you can provide these products listed in the table in the background and requirement section above. In the response, please cite your business size status. DISTRIBUTORS: You must provide proof that you are an authorized distributor. VA does not accept gray market items. Vendors are requested to submit estimated market research pricing with their responses. The estimated pricing will be considered when determining the procurement strategy for the future solicitation. (e.g. if CO determines that capable small businesses cannot provide fair and reasonable pricing, then the solicitation will not be set-aside).
