- Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 07 1826 Veterans Blvd. Dublin GA, 31021 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 07 (NCO 7) hereby gives notice of the Government s intent to award a single, firm fixed-price purchase order to Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions (VHSS) at 2615 Port Industrial Drive, Jacksonville FL. The proposed award will be made Pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127(b) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) using the procedures outlined in Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7008. Description: The Government will procure seven (7) Hamilton C1 non-invasive ventilators customized with H900 humidifiers and various components for use by the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Respiratory Care Department at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur GA 30033. The devices will be used to provide critical respiratory care to veteran patients with obstructive sleep apnea and chronic hypercapnic respiratory failure in intensive care units, on medical floors, and the emergency room. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a Small Business Administration size standard of 1,250 Employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to support this requirement by the submittal deadline. Interested parties should review the attached product description prior to responding to this notice. The Government will consider all responses received by this notice closing date to determine whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the Government's discretion. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 7 will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. A justification for sole source award under the cited authority has been prepared and will be publicized in accordance with FAR Part 5.
