Description

Pre-solicitation Notice � 2024 Vandenberg Space Force Base SABER IDIQ Department of the Air Force, Space Launch Delta 30, 30 CONS, 1515 Iceland Ave, Room 150, Vandenberg SFB, CA �93437-5212. The Space Force intends to issue a solicitation, Invitation for Bid number FA461024B0003. �VSFB SABER IDIQ on Vandenberg SFB, California, on or about 27 June 2024. �The Government has a need for a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) program. �The SABER program shall provide a streamlined means to complete construction projects for the 30th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES). �The work entailed consists of a broad range of maintenance, repair, and construction work on real property. �Work identified includes but is not limited to various trades such as carpentry, asbestos abatement/removal, demolition, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, concrete masonry, alteration of real property, paving and painting projects on Vandenberg SFB and its associated sites to include Orcutt Hill, Naval Base Ventura county (NBVC), Port Hueneme, Pillar Point Air Force Station (PPAFS), Point Mugu, and the Santa Ynez Peak and Anderson Peak Optical Tracking Stations. �Work covered under the SABER program will not require the use of a registered architect or engineer. �The Award is contemplated as a competitive 8(a) multiple-award IDIQ with FFP task orders to three (3) eligible 8(a) contractors. � The NAICS code is 236220 and the size standard is $45M. �This acquisition will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding and FAR Part 36 Construction and Architect � Engineer Contracts. �All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. �Additional information or postings will be posted for viewing on SAM at https://www.SAM.gov. Notice to potential offeror(s)/supplier(s): �Funds are not presently available for this effort. �No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. �The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. �In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror of any cost.
