Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Bogota will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The requirement is to provide health and life insurance services to the Locally Employed staff of the U.S. Mission Caracas, Venezuela. The estimated number of employees is 208 and 627 family members. Please note that these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. � Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a) All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer; therefore, all offerors are encouraged registration in SAM before the proposal due date. The Contractor shall possess all permits, licenses, and any other appointments required for the performance of work under this contract. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021) Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses.
