- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price and technical proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This is a non-personal services contract to provide Roman Catholic Priest Services. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein.� Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor is not a member of the Chaplain Support Office staff. MICC -FB intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Catholic Priest services to be performed at Fort Detrick, MD. The period of performance shall be for one (1) twelve-month (12) Base Year and four (4) twelve-month (12) option years in accordance with FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. IAW FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, a six-month extension period may be exercised if it is deemed necessary.�
