- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE contract to LANIER PLANS, INC. to provide Maxwell AFB�s Squadron Officer School (SOS) with additional shade sail support in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR). Brief Description of Requirement: Contractor will extend a custom designed, sourced, and built structure.� Since the extension will be connected to existing columns, all structural components (columns, sail fabric, connectors, etc) must match existing exactly.� Further, all colors and fabric styles must match exactly to avoid creating an unprofessional aesthetic environment.� Since the contractor designed, sourced, and installed the existing system, they alone can match the existing to create a cohesive product.� �The estimated period of performance is 30 June 2024 through 31 July 2024. Place of Performance: Maxwell AFB, AL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337920, Blind and Shade Manufacturing. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, contractors MUST BE REGISTERED and ACTIVE in the DoD Systems for Award Management (SAM) database at time of quotation submission, no exceptions. Contractors not registered in SAM; your quote will not be evaluated. To register, please visit http://www.sam.gov or call 1-866-606-8220. Those capable of meeting the requirement IAW the SOR are requested to provide the following information in their response: 1) Current capability that demonstrates your company's ability to meet the requirements as outlined in the attached SOR, 2) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size, Cage Code and DUNS number. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents.
