- The Department of Veterans Affairs will be soliciting a Brand name Equal or Equal requirement for Cryostat. The Atlanta VA Healthcare system, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service, has a requirement for a Cryostat. Frozen Lab sections require the use of a cryostat. The frozen section test is an intraoperative (STAT) test provided to surgeons to guide intraoperative management. Without a cryostat, frozen sections will cease, negatively impacting surgical patient care. The VA site will install and configure the equipment; therefore, installation is not required by the Contractor. Outlined below are the technical requirements associated with this procurement action: - HM525NX UV Cryostat EC70 Solicitation will be posted on sam.gov, no phone call or emails.
