- This is a Sources Sought Notice seeking market research information to be used for acquisition planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. Any quotes in response to this notice will not be evaluated. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community, which includes Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339950, Sign Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees over the past three years. The Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area (LARO), National Park Service, may have an upcoming request to solicit and may award a firm fixed price contract for the installation of 20 signs inside the park. Large Businesses for NAICS 339950 that are interested are also encouraged to submit their Capability Statement in accordance with the instructions below. LARO utilizes signs to indicate campground vacancy status for visitors along the state highways adjacent to the park. This project is for the installation of twenty (20) signs provided by the park. The signs are to be installed as secondary signs under existing campground guide signs. In addition to the installation, four existing �Campground Full� signs will be removed and replaced with the new signs. The minimum requirements are as follows: 1) The signs will be installed in accordance with current standards and dimensions shown in Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Standard Plan G-Series. 2) All signs will reside in a state highway right of way and will require traffic control and all applicable WSDOT standards to be met in accordance with the current edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices as approved by WSDOT. Capability Statements Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the contractor's ability, capability and responsibility to provide sign installation in accordance with the listed minimum requirements above. In response to this notice, interested parties shall submit a written Statement of Capability limited to 2 pages and shall include the following information: 1) Contractor�s name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address. 2) Contractor�s interest in providing a quote, should the solicitation be issued. 3) Contractor�s capability to meet the requirements. 4) Contractor�s Unique Entity ID. The Unique Entity ID is a 12-character alphanumeric ID assigned to an entity by SAM.gov. 5) Contractor�s business size. 6) Contractor�s small business type (if a small business) and whether they qualify for a socio-economic category (i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.). *Be sure to note the Sources Sought Notice (DOIPFBO240041) in the subject line of your email. **Email this information to thomas_baker@nps.gov by June 21, 2024, 5:00pm Pacific Daylight Time. ***Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisitions decisions. Reimbursement is not authorized for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice, or any follow up information requested. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government may cancel this solicitation/acquisition in its entirety.
