- This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contacting Office 8, Regional Procurement Office East, on behalf of the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center located at 7305 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source award to Dentsply Sirona Orthodontics Inc. located at 7290 26TH CT E, Sarasota, FL, 34243 in support of the Northern Multispecialty Clinic (NMS) Clinic. The proposed contract is for the Dental Equipment with installation listed below: Part Number Description 5960377 Windows Workstation (PC + Monitor) 1000007367 Sidexis 4 Full Version 4.3 6149962 Labor (2 hrs. per wk. station) 100008634 Schick 33 2 Sensor Starter Kit 3.0 Interface 9 ft. 6708437 Orthophos S11 6149954 Labor (for Othophos Pan) 6622471 SICAT Endo Lic. & SW 6543693 SICAT Implant Includes 2 Lic & SW 6256221 Heliodent Plus Wall Unit XL 80 inch/240 mm 6149962 Labor Test, Train (for Heliodent) -2 hrs. per unit INSTALL INSTALL This sole source award to Dentsply Sirona Orthodontics Inc. is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotes, or capability statement. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101. This Special Notice is being issued for information purposes only. Responses received will be considered for determining sources for future procurements. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is strictly voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent. Vendors having the technical capability to meet this need, please submit evidence of your capabilities. All information shall be in writing, sent via email to Melissa Everett at melissa.everett@va.gov . Responses must be received no later than 2:00 PM (Eastern Time) on July 1, 2024.
