- This pre-solicitation notice provides notice of the Government's intent to issue a solicitation for a project which provides for a design-bid-build construction documents for the renovation of four buildings totaling 19,872 square feet (SF). As identified within the plans, the scope includes the following building areas: Building #5: 1st floor 6662 SF, 2nd floor 1241 SF. Building #5A: 1st floor 2041 SF Building #8: 1st floor 6646 SF, 2nd floor 1241 SF Building #8A: 1st floor 2041 SF The construction firm�s role will consist of providing services to include, but not limited to, the renovation and construction of the Police College buildings at The Royal Bahamas Police Force Police Training College. �The Sources Sought notice was 19AQMM24N0047. Place of Performance: �Shall be The Royal Bahamas Police Force Police Training College located at Latitude N 25� 03� 20.8"", Longitude W 077� 22� 03.7"". Period of Performance: 180 calendar days from Issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP) Order of Magnitude: �Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204(f) Competition Procedures: Full and Open (unrestricted). Basis of Award: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Contract Type: �Hybrid Contract - Firm Fixed Price (FFP) for construction CLINs and Cost Reimbursable for the Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance The approximate acquisition schedule is as follows: The synopsis will be posted for at least fifteen (15) days.� On or around July 09, 2024, the Government plans to post thse solicitation on the System for Award Management (SAM): http://sam.gov.� No paper copies will be mailed.� Once posted, offerors will have approximately fifty (50) days to submit proposals. �All dates are subject to change. The Question and Answer (Q&A) period opens with the posting of the solicitation and ends on the date specified in Section L of the solicitation.� All announcements and amendments made to the solicitation will be posted to SAM (http://sam.gov).� Only emails following the Q&A instructions in Section L of the solicitation will be accepted.� No other emails or phone calls will be accepted. Offerors shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform the required work in The Bahamas.� Offerors shall be registered in SAM to be eligible for award.
