Description: The Brooklyn VA Medical Center Sterile Processing Service (SPS) is requiring the brand name purchase of Genesis rigid sterilization containers and baskets needed to sterilize surgical instruments and decrease the potential for surgery cancellations due to holes in wrapped instrument trays. In addition, utilizing the containers will save on costs associated with the disposable wraps. Used or refurbished equipment is unacceptable.
