- PROJECT: REPLACE EAST LIFT STATION - FORT PICKENS PARK: Gulf Islands National Seashore, Escambia County, Florida SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 0003: UPLOAD REVISED SITE PLAN SHEET C4 (5 OF 11) with 80KW Generator, Site Visit Agenda/Sign-In, and RFI 1 - 9 Clarifications. The hour and date for receipts of bids remain at 07/02/2024 1400 CDT. MAGNITUDE: Single FFP Construction Contract. The Work consists of: 1. Demolish existing lift station, 50-KW diesel generator, and pump control panel, and 200-amp, 240 volt, 3-pole automatic transfer switch. 2. Install new lift station with fiberglass wet well and 15 horsepower pump, 80-KW propane generator with 250-gallon propane tanks, pump control panel, and 200-amp, 240 volt, 3-pole service rated automatic transfer switch. Bid Items include: Site Preparation, Site Improvements, Site Mechanical Utilities. and Site Electrical Utilities Estimated price range: between $500,000 and $1,000,000 For more details, refer to PLANS: FINAL DESIGN (11-SHEETS) JUN 9, 2023 and SPECS: FINAL PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS (207-PGS) JUN 2, 2023 SITE VISIT: An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday MAY 29, 2024 10 AM CDT (c) Participants will meet at Site of Work -- Fort Pickens Campground Office, 1400 Fort Pickens Rd, Pensacola Beach, FL 30�19'09""N 87�15'23""W SITE VISIT AGENDA (DRAFT) is posted to SAM under Attachments/Links. This Solicitation is issued as an INVITATIONS FOR BIDS (IFB) under FAR PART 14 - SEALED BIDDING and FAR 36 PART 36 - CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS procedures. SUBMISSION OF BIDS: Bidders must submit sealed bids to be opened at the time and place stated in the solicitation for the public opening of bids. BID BOND is required. The amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20 percent of the bid price or 3,000,000.00, whichever is less; refer to IFB Section I provision 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee for more details. EVALUATION OF BIDS: Bids shall be evaluated without discussions. Refer to Section L provision 52.214-19 Contract Award - Sealed Bidding - Construction. CONTRACT AWARD: After bids are publicly opened, an award will be made with reasonable promptness to that responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation.
