- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). This is not a request for quote (RFQ). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this SSN shall be voluntary. This SSN is for market research purposes only. The information submitted in response to the SSN will not be utilized to determine vendor standing in any future/potential RFQ, nor will it be utilized to determine if a vendor is qualified to submit an RFQ for any future/potential requirement. The SSN and the information received shall not be used to determine how well respondents can perform a requirement, which can only be evaluated in response to a solicitation. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this SSN. All future/proposed submissions/solicitations requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independent of any information submitted in response to this SSN. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a GPE based on this SSN. Potential sources shall provide shipping and delivery as well as required lead time from receipt of order to shipping. Their Capability Statement must be clear, concise, and complete. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network/Program Contracting Office 01, in support of VISN 1 VA Health Care System Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service are in need of Point of Care (POC) connectivity software for the transmitting of patient data from Point of Care instrumentation into the VA VISTA/CPRS database. POC connectivity software must be adaptable to the POC instrumentation in VISN 1, which includes the following: Abbott i-STAT, Haemonetics TEG6, Manual Test Entry, Radiometer ABL 90, Roche CoaguChek, Roche ACCU-CHECK Inform II, Siements Clinitek, Werfen AVOXimeter 1000E, and Werfen Hemochron Signature Elite. POC connectivity software must not require additional middleware/software from another vendor to connect to VISTA/CPRS. The POC Connectivity software must be VA approved. There must be an existing Enterprise Risk Analysis (ERA) in place. The intent is to find a qualified business relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 541512: Computer Systems Design Services, and Product Service Code (PSC) 6640: Laboratory Equipment and Supplies. Interested parties will be required to provide capabilities statement and certificates per SOW attached.
