Description

The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Public Work (PW) Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI) intends to solicit, on a 100 percent competitive small business set-aside basis, using simplified acquisition procedures (SAP) pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 for the procurement of propane tank equipment and propane supply and delivery to the NASWI. The proposed acquisition may result in a firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order and will provide for a base period of twelve (12) months with three (3) one-year options, option year three is a partial year. In accordance FAR 13.106-2 basis of award for this RFQ is �Price and Past Performance� only. Anticipated award date is 15 August 2024. Summary of Performance Work Statement: Contractor to provide propane equipment and delivery services for Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Oak Harbor Washington. The requirement includes contractor provided liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tanks and propane services for facility support requirements. Services included install, setup, maintain rented equipment, certify tanks, and delivery propane (per Gallon) and all necessary equipment to delivery propane to facilities. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and small business size standard are 324110 and 1500 (number of employees), respectively. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically on the SAM website (www.sam.gov). A hard copy of the solicitation WILL NOT be made available. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action at this time based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The solicitation is expected to be released within approximately 10 days of this posting. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring these websites for posting of the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation that may be released. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
