- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.� The U.S. Department of Energy�s Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) intends to issue a firm-fixed award to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, Cooks Mechanical Services (CMS.) This requirement is for the installation of a new 20-ton DS (Downflow standard) Vertiv Liebert Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) Data Center Cooling System (Model DS070ADA1EI6LS0) unit and one Liebert MC Air-Cooled Microchannel Condenser (Model MCM080E8AD0WK9) in the Data Center located at the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) facility. �The contract is for installation only.� The CRAC and condenser will be provided by OSTI.� All equipment is genuine Liebert HVAC equipment.� CMS installed previous units and has knowledge of the electrical requirements needed for these installations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business size standard of $19M. Any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by July 16, 2024, by 5:00 p.m. EST.� Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to paynet@osti.gov by 5:00 p.m. local time.� A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Please note that any prospective offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to award in accordance with FAR part 4.11.
