- Amendment 1 The NPS amends this solicitation and provides responses to questions received. There is no change to the deadline of the Notice of Intent to Propose or the proposal due date. Amendment 1 will be available at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm. _________________________ The National Park Service (NPS) provides notice of the release of a Prospectus to solicit proposals for the award of up to two (2) Concession Contracts to provide River Transportation and Cargo Haul-Out Services in Canyonlands National Park (�Park�). The effective date of the Concession Contract(s) is expected to be January 1, 2025. The Prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the Concession Contract. The Prospectus will be available at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm. Preferred Offeror The Director, pursuant to the terms of 36 Code of Federal Regulations Part 51, has determined that the contracts described in this Prospectus CC-CANYXXX-25 are qualified Contract(s) and, therefore, each of the two (2) Existing Concessioners are a Preferred Offeror for this Solicitation. If an Existing Concessioner submits a responsive proposal and that proposal is not selected as the best proposal, the preferred offeror designation allows it to match the terms of the best offer. Site Visit No Concession Facilities are associated with the Draft Contract(s); therefore, no site visit will be conducted. Offerors are encouraged to visit the area to become familiar with physical conditions and limitations involved and become acquainted with the details requisite to operating the Draft Contract(s) services. Questions Due If you do not understand something in this Prospectus, you must submit your questions or comments to Jennifer Parker, Commercial Services Program Lead, via email at Jennifer_Parker@nps.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time on June 11, 2024. The questions must be in a format that allows the NPS to copy them to Microsoft Word. Notice of Intent to Propose If you plan to submit a proposal in response to this solicitation, you must notify Jennifer Parker, Commercial Services Program Lead, via email at Jennifer_Parker@nps.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time on August 1, 2024. The NPS will not accept proposals from entities that do not provide notice on or before that date. Submission of an Electronic Proposal Prior to the electronic submission deadline of August 29, 2024, you will receive a welcome email message from the NPS�s Microsoft Teams platform at the email address you provided when you notified the Service of your intent to submit a proposal. You must accept the invitation before you can access the Teams site to upload your proposal. The NPS will not accept proposals submitted in hardcopy or via another electronic platform, including email. See Proposal Instructions for additional guidance.� Contact List To be put on a contact list to receive amendments or any additional information specific to the Prospectus, interested parties must provide their contact information (name, email address, and phone number) to Jennifer Parker via email at Jennifer_Parker@nps.gov. Information relative to the solicitation will also be posted to the above-mentioned website. The Existing Concessioners are automatically included in the contact list.
