- Cape Lookout NS INSTALLATION OF WINDOW TINTING ADMIN VC GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor, providing the best value to the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P5323Q0035. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-92 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror submitting a Quote which conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This requirement is set-aside for Total Small Business in accordance with FAR Subpart 19-502-2, and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238150. This solicitation will result in a contract within a period of (10) days. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. The acquisition is in support to service Cape Lookout National Seashore REQUIREMENT: Window Tinting in Visitor Center Cape Lookout National Seashore This project consists of tinting 47 separate panes of glass in the Harkers Island Visitor Center. The windows will be tinted with DR/15 tint. See SF-18 for further information about this requirement.
