- The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for Harpist and Piano Services. This is for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 711130 - Musical Groups and Artist. The Chaplain Service has a requirement for a musician to play harp, piano or organ for Church Services, Memorial Services, other special services, and medical wards as assigned at VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC), located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the services described in this statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified (piano and organ are provided). The contractors shall provide music and instrumental support for Church Services, Memorial Services, other special services. The musician will play harp and other musical instruments on medical wards to calm patients and support spiritual well-being and promote the healing process, as assigned. The Contractor will have some, but minimal contact with inpatients, working in assigned areas. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made.
