Project Summary The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Vaccine Research Center (VRC) of the Structural Biology Section is seeking a Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Instrument to obtain biophysical and structural data for macromolecules. Specifically, NIAID, VRC is seeking a Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Instrument that can perform the following applications: Need for one (1) High-throughput Surface Plasmon Resonance Instrument. This instrument should include the following: 1. Instrument and on-instrument Analysis Software license) with PC and Monitor. 2. A One Year Warranty should be included. 3. A Custom Wheeled Bench which will allow for 360-degree walk-around access to the instrument for servicing. 4. Analysis Software (one off-instrument license) 5. Reagent Starter Kit 6. Installation 7. Training at the installation location. The SPR system must also include all the requirements listed below. 1. The physical dimensions should not exceed 58 in x 33 in x 35 in (147.3 cm x 83.8 cm x 88.9 cm). 2. The maximum weight of the instrument should not exceed 740 lbs. 3. The analysis temperature range should be within 15 40?C. 4. The sample storage should be temperature controlled with a range of 10 25?C. 5. The instrument should be capable of high-throughput sample capture with 96 parallel prints and up to 384 spots. 6. A single flow cell that should cover the entire 384 spots. 7. The baseline noise should be 1.5 ml/min 16. The injection flow should be bi-directional 17. The sample deck should hold at least 3 96-well plates or 384-well plates. Anticipated Period of Performance It is anticipated that an award will be made on or about September 09, 2024. Delivery of equipment will be required as soon as possible. Capability Statement/Information Sought If your organization has the potential capacity to provide a Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Instrument which meets the minimum salient characteristics listed above, please provide the following information: 1. Organization name, address, point of contact, email address, website address, telephone number, UEI number 2. Type of business (e.g., 8(a), HUBZone, Other than Small, etc.) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code 3. Identification of any Best-in-Class contract vehicles including Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC) (e.g., GSA schedule, NITAAC) they may possess or are aware of that would support this possible requirement. If your organization does not provide the products/services under a GWAC, please identify availability as OPEN MARKET ONLY. 4. Tailored capability statement addressing the capability of the instrument to meet NIAIDs minimum salient characteristics. Capability document shall be no more than six pages. 5. Place of manufacture for the Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Instrument and if applicable, any accessories/components. 6. Evidence that the organization is an authorized reseller or manufacturer of the instrument. Only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products are acceptable. Submission Instructions Interested businesses who consider themselves qualified to provide the above listed Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Instrument are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by July 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM EST.
