INTRODUCTION: Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Division B is releasing this Industry Day announcement on behalf of the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS). The U.S. Army PEO EIS is hosting an Industry Day for the Army Accessions Information Environment (AIE) to include acquisition strategies. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the US Government to form a binding contract or agreement. The Government will not reimburse or pay for this Industry Day. Industry Day is open to all business types. This Industry Day is issued for the purpose of discussing the Government�s requirements on AIE. Registration to the Industry Day is voluntary and will not affect any contractor's ability to submit a proposal if, or when, a solicitation is released. The Industry Day does NOT constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. INDUSTRY DAY INFORMATION: Industry Day will be on Thursday, June 20, 9:30am � 12:00pm EDT. Link to the registration is below. This event is virtual only. Admission for the event is free. Reserve your spot through the link provided below. AIE is a defense business system under the DoD 5000.87 Software Acquisition Pathway. AIE is developing a modern solution to simplify and streamline the recruiting process across the entire Army accessions enterprise. DRAFT AGENDA (6/20/2024) 9:30 a.m. Opening remarks 9:45 a.m. Day in the life of an Army recruiter; their requirements and pain points 10:15 a.m. Technical discussion about AIE architecture, interfaces and trading partners 10:30 a.m. Elements of the RFP and what you need to do to be competitive; contract scope; CLINS; Sections L & M; how source selection will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Q&A REQUEST A 1:1 MEETING (6/21/2024) You must register to indicate your interest in meeting Army leaders to discuss the AIE procurement. (Limited slots are available.) All 1:1 meetings will be scheduled on Teams. INDUSTRY COLLABORATION: No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise because of the submission of information in response to the Industry Day. Proprietary information shall NOT be submitted in response to the Industry Day, nor will the Government be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information. No award will be made as a result of the Industry Day. the Industry Day is for informational purposes only to promote exchanges of information with industry. The Government will not pay for any information and/or materials received in response to the Industry Day and is not obligated by the information received. The Government will make every effort to answer questions and provide responses but cannot guarantee that all questions will be answered before, during, and after the Industry Day. Participation (or non-participation) in response to the Industry Day will not preclude any vendor from responding to future acquisitions, either individually or as part of a team. Marketing brochures and capability statements alone will not be considered adequate information in response to the Industry Day. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government is under no obligation to provide feedback with respect to any information submitted. The Government reserves the right to conduct one-on-one meetings in person or virtually with respondents to this Draft RFP. The Government may or may not choose to interact with select respondents to perform market research. Such exchanges, should they occur, would be solely for the purpose of obtaining further clarification of industry�s potential capabilities, experiences, and perspectives.
