Description
The purpose of this amendment 0003 to RFQ 36C25924Q0538 is to post vendor questions and answers as well as additional HEPA bank information, see attachment. Questions and Answers Q1. What is the process to dispose of the used filters considered hazardous waste? A1. All hazardous waste material is to be properly packaged and palletized in the penthouse or nearest staircase to be handled by RMR. Q2. What type of leak test is required? A2. Smoke leak test required. Q3. Types of filters and Seal requirements. A3. Camfil HEPA filters will be provided, all seal and gasket material must be provided to properly seal and leak test each of the HEPA banks. Q4. Access to Units and locations? A4. Teams will be escorted by an RMR staff member all the time, work to be completed pending coordination with individual services for dates and the hours would be from 0800 2230. Q5. Will carts be available to transport filters? A5. Yes. Q6. Is a stress test required for air flow High/Low required? A6. No. Q7. Is there an established SOP for the changing process? A7. No, industry standards and requirement must be followed and met. Q8. Level of PPE required for replacement of the filters? A8. industry standards and requirement must be followed and met. Q9. Access to hydration and what is allowed? A9. All hydration gear and options are available, no food or perishables are allowed in the interstitial spaces or penthouse mechanical spaces. Q10. Are background checks or security clearances done for individuals or as a group for the company? A10. No security or background checks technicians will be escorted by FMS staff. Q11. Are there pre-filters required for the HEPA Bank? A11. No Q12. Total HEPA bank locations? A12. 10 Exhaust, 7 Supply OR s, 3 Positive pressure rooms Q13. Scope says 20 HEPA Filter Banks, how many filters are there in each bank? A13. HEPA banks vary depending on the size and may have up to 2 filters. Q14. Can you provide a list of certifications or permits if any. A14. HEPS standards are ANSI/ASHRAE/ASHE Addendum p to ANSI/ASHRAE/ASHE Standard 170-2017. Must meet or exceed. Q15. How many filters will be changed on each piece of equipment? A15. 1 or 2 Q16. How many pieces of equipment will have their filters changed? A16. 20 Q17. Will the VA provide disposal bags? A17. The VA does have bags.
