Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Spain will launch the solicitation on the https://es.usembassy.gov/request-for-bids/ when it is available. No responses are requested by this notice. The U.S. Embassy Madrid is going to procue for the refurbishment of of ODC office space in Madrid.� This will include, masonry, carpentry, electricity and painting.� The Government plans to issue the solicitation the week of July 22, 2024. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor.� The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a requirements-type contract with firm fixed price line items. PLACE OF CONTRACT PERFORMANCE: U.S. Embassy Madrid, Spain - ODC Calle Romero Robledo, 8 Madrid, Spain In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain.� All offerors will be required to provide proof that they already possess said permits. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
