Description
BACKGROUND The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) �RF technology division is seeking lenses and mechanical components to build custom manual probe stations dedicated to the characterization of active devices and circuits above 100 GHz. The solution must include microscope bodies, microscope objectives, translation and rotation and tip-tilt stages, and white light illumination. This solution will enable transistor large-signal characterization that will be used to extract and validate transistor models under the CHIPS program.� � NIST is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a commercial item solution that can perform within the capabilities described within this notice. The solution shall consist of 4 units of Microscope body with coaxial illumination, 1 unit of Near-Infrared microscope body with coaxial illumination, 2 units of 20x long working distance microscope objective lens, 2 units of 10x long working distance microscope objective lens 1 unit 20x microscope objective lens with 0.7 mm glass thickness compensation, 1 unit of 20x microscope objective lens with 1.1 mm glass thickness compensation, 12 units of Manual X translation stage, 4 units of Manual XY translation stage, 4 units of Rotation stage, 8 units of Tip-tilt stage, 4 units of White LED microscope illuminator, 4 units of LED illuminator controller.
