Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD � Kardex-Remstar Storage Units Maintenance/Service This is a notice that the 87th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to award a sole source contract to Garden State Office Systems & Equipment based on FAR 13.106(b) Soliciting from a Single Source.� The purpose of this procurement is to provide preventive maintenance and inspection services for the existing Kardex-Remstar Storage Units manufactured and installed by Garden State Office Systems & Equipment. �The Period of Performance will be one 12 month base period with two 12 month options. The proposed NAICS for this requirement is 811310 with a size standard of $11M. NOTICE:� THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT, NOT AN RFQ.� The intent of this notice is to inform any potential offerors of a proposed contract action.� This proposed procurement is for items which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.� However, interested parties having Kardex-Remstar proprietary rights may identify their interest and submit their capability statement to the contracting officer no later than July 8, 2024 1300 PM� EST.� All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the contracting officer.
