- Request for Information (RFI) Purpose: The Coast Guard is issuing this request for information (RFI) for market research purposes to identify the requirements for Contract Vendor personnel and management required to support the following efforts as it pertains to resident training systems: Maintenance Plan Development, Asset Tracking and Documentation System Implementation, Trainer Maintenance, Scheduled Maintenance Protocols, Unscheduled Maintenance Response, Training for Aviation Technical Training Center (ATTC) Personnel, Continuous Improvement, Compliance and Quality Assurance, and Trainer Operations. The Table below are examples of Training systems currently in use and/or awaiting delivery to ATTC. Ensuring accurate bid submissions is crucial to the success of our project. Therefore, we strongly encourage all bidders to conduct a thorough site visit to verify quantities before finalizing their bids. It is expected that offerors or quoters inspect the site where the work will be performed to better understand the scope of the project.To facilitate this process, an organized site visit has been scheduled for August 6, 2024, at 09:00 am est. Participants are requested to assemble at the ATTC Multi-Purpose room. Please note that all visitors must provide the following information prior to scheduling a site visit: Full legal name, date of birth, contact number, email address, Driver�s License, registration of vehicle and proof of insurance. All vendors interested in attending a site visit shall submit their request via email to: matthew.delvalle@uscg.mil The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Disclaimer: There is no solicitation at this time. This RFI is not a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this request is purely voluntary; the Government will not pay for any costs incurred nor is obligated to respond. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.� After reviewing RFI responses to this RFI, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement may be published on the Contract Opportunities (formerly FedBizOpps) website or distributed to contract holders if a strategically-sourced vehicle is deemed appropriate. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the Contract Opportunities website. Failure to respond or submit sufficiently detailed information may result in a company not being considered a likely offeror when making a decision on whether or how to set aside a solicitation for restricted competition. Regardless of the information submitted, the Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as determined appropriate for this requirement. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this RFI.
