Description
This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Fayetteville VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement for Radiographic Equipment Inspections. Inspections will include computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine (NM), C-Arm, portables, and fluoroscopic equipment. The contractor shall be available, via telephone, to provide emergency services during working hours. Response must be within one hour of request for assistance as needed. The contractor shall provide telephone consultation regarding radiation safety to the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), Biomedical Engineer or Imaging Program Administrator (IPA) as needed within three (3) hours of notification by the RSO or designee. This program will adhere to the requirements and expectations of the Joint Commission, The VHA ' s National Health Physics Program (NHPP), the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the internal requirements of the Fayetteville VA Coastal Healthcare Center. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement. Subject line must reflect: Radiographic Equipment Inspections. All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than 3:00 PM EST, Monday, July 15, 2024, to the attention of: Serina Black serina.black1@va.gov.
