- Synopsis: REPAIR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS BASEWIDE- SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS.� The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources.� This notice is for planning purposes only.� All interested parties should respond.�� The Tennessee Air National Guard, McGhee Tyson ANG Base, Louisville, TN has been tasked to solicit for and award a project to include but not limited to: provide and install new Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch for minimally 3 buildings, perform demolition and construction activities associated with the installation of an outdoor pavilion, repair building 120�s exterior to include a total repaint, repair all areas of rust and damage, and recaulk of all existing windows, doors, and louvers, shall demolish existing main gate marquee and construct new Marquee, shall repair building 416�s ATS and remove any existing generator docking stations to install new generator docking stations to buildings 240, 320, and 416, repair base lighting by replacing various fixtures, light poles, and locks, repair, replace, and install various lighting fixtures and lighting components at facilities basewide, provide and install new Generator Catwalk at Building 125, demolish (2) existing bollards, and install (4), provide and install electrical for BX sign, all according to the design drawings and specifications. Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.� The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The magnitude of this project is Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 19 July 2024, 10:00 A.M. EST.� This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry.� The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included.� Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor.� (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract.� In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
