Description
Air University Library (AUL) is reorganizing staff spaces and requires a services contract to relocate five cubicles and assorted furniture (See paragraph 2.3 for specifics in SoW). One set of two connecting cubicles in Building 1405, Room 140 need to be relocated to a different location in the same room. This move will require network and electrical wiring/cables to be moved. The electrical work is required to be completed by a certified electrician. �Three separate cubicles need to be disassembled from Room 1005 and reassembled in Room 140. Bookcases, filing cabinets and office furniture need to be moved from several locations in Building 1405 to Room 140. Any remaining cubicles and furniture in room 1005 will be removed and taken for disposal. All of the cubicles and furniture that need to be relocated are already owned and installed at Air University Library, this is a contract only to disassemble (as needed), move and install the existing furniture in a new location. Details of specific cubicles and furniture are below. To relocate five cubicles and assorted furniture and to connect electrical and network wiring/cables to the cubicles, all within Building 1405.�� Relocate one set of two connecting cubicles in Rm 140 to a different location in the same room. This move will require network and electrical wiring/cables to be moved. Disassemble three separate cubicles from Rm 1005 and reassemble them in Rm 140.� Move bookcases, filing cabinets and office furniture from several locations to Rm 140. Any remaining cubicles and furniture in Rm 1005 will be removed and taken for disposal. The Service provider shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor, supervision, and material, to include test equipment to conduct necessary tests, repairs, parts, and service in Section 2.3 as specified in this Statement of Work (SOW).� All work is to be performed in accordance with these specifications, subject to the terms and conditions of this SOW and as specifically cited in the Contractor�s Proposal to the Contracting Officer. Important Notes:� 1.�Services shall be conducted in conformity with applicable regulations to contribute maximum satisfaction to responsible base offices.� Services shall be made with minimum divergence from schedules once established.� All services shall be made with minimum disturbance and maximum protection of property.� AUL shall be notified 48 hrs. prior to work starting. 2.�Contractor will furnish all manufacturer warranties as needed for any component incorporated into this project such as equipment; any component installed in or made a part of the existing infrastructure and any exterior or interior finishes, etc. 3.�Reconfiguration of the workstations shall be performed by an Affordable Interior Systems certified installer or an installation team from an authorized dealer in order to maintain the warranty. 4. This is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available. 5.A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 6.Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 7.Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this intent to sole source (ISS). Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 8.Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this ISS. This sole source procurement is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a firm-fixed price contract.
