- Description
- The Department of Energy (DOE), Energy Information Administration (EIA), intends to issue a firm fixed price sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Products to Dow Jones & Company, Inc. for its Oil Price Information Service (OPIS).� This subscription is for data services that provide an integrated suite of crude oil, refined petroleum products, ethanol, and biofuels data and news information services to support EIA�s collection, statistical estimation, analysis, modeling, and data validation needs.� The estimated period of performance will be a base year plus two one-year options. The requirement consists of a subscription to OPIS products and services for up to 15 EIA users. These products and services: Provide pricing information for ethanol, biofuels, and key feedstocks, along with news related to events in the renewable fuels industry (RIN pricing, domestic and international price and volume analysis). Provide annual active retail gasoline station, diesel fuel service station, and truck stop lists. Provide retail prices of gasoline and/or diesel fuel at the service station and truck stop level. Provide diesel fuel prices for truck stops on a weekly basis to include: ID, station name, address, and price. Provide daily wholesale rack prices for various gasoline, distillate fuel, propane, and blend stock products at the state and city level. Alert analysts in real time via proprietary news updates on key industry and policy changes, upcoming regulations, and company operational status. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with strong and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company�s ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses that demonstrate comparable capability are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
