- The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the personal services of LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE (LVN)/LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) SERVICES FOR THE 51ST MEDICAL GROUP AT OSAN AIR BASE, KOREA.� The LVN/LPN shall provide significant contributions to Flight and Operational Medicine Clinic by researching recommendations for improvement and implementation of sound policies and procedures throughout the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), thereby enhancing the quality of care for all healthcare beneficiaries at the 51st Medical Group, Osan Air Base, Korea. Required qualifications include, but are not limited to: Education: Must have completed formal training program to allow full, unrestricted practice as a LVN/ LPN from a US jurisdiction. The provider must maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) or the American Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS, ACLS course, and Community Health Management, Tables 1.1 through 1.6. The MTF can provide BLS and ACLS refresher courses. Licensure: Must have and maintain throughout course of the contract a current, active, valid, unrestricted license (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) to practice as a LVN/ LPN from a US jurisdiction. Experience:� A resume that reflects at least two years full-time experience in care coordination, discharge planning or case management in a medical setting within the last four years as a LVN/LPN. The resume shall provide evidence that includes the following information: -�������������� The title of the contract/project -�������������� A brief description of work completed -�������������� Name of the Client Organization or Requiring Activity -�������������� Period of contract/project (year/month/date � year/month/date) -�������������� Complete name of point of contact at the Client Organization -�������������� Phone number of the POC of the Client/RA The Contract HCW shall be able to communicate in the English language at a proficiency level of a native speaker (as demonstrated by Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) score greater than or equal to 850, which was obtained within the last three years and as exemplified in their written and verbal skills in the performance of their duties under this contract. The Government will assess language skills of all contract employees who are required by terms of this PWS to be proficient at speaking English through performance of services. If the Government, at its sole discretion, determines that the language skills of the contract HCW does not meet the language proficiency skills required of the position, the Government reserves the right to require the Contractor to provide a replacement contract HCW that does possess the required language proficiency skills required of the position, at no additional cost to the Government. The English test (TOEIC) requirement will be waived for individuals who are native English speakers. This requirement is for a one-year period of performance 1 October 2024 � 30 September 2025, plus four one-year options, and the FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.� The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 621399 and the annual size standard is $10M.� This solicitation package will be available on the SAM.gov website (http://SAM.gov/) approximately in July 2024.� No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.� The Contracting Officer is Ms. Kanoe Sing-Ching, (808) 438-9539, kanoelani.c.singching.civ@health.mil, and the Contract Specialist is Ms. Charis K. NOTICE TO OFFERORS All sources may submit a quote as applicable.� However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any offeror, for this requirement.� All sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration.� If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award. Whether an offeror demonstrates this authorization and capacity shall be determined by the Contracting Officer.
